Hey guys,
It’s been a really awesome week here in Austin. We’ve had some very important visitors here in the office sharing their ninja tactics and generally having a great time. We also held our very first “DMTV Live!” streaming broadcast in our new studio. So, yeah, we’ve been kinda busy…
Here are a few of the stories that I’ve got loaded on my iPad to read over the weekend:
How Quibb Keeps Daily Email Open Rates between 50% and 70% – Honestly, it’s hard for me to believe that anyone is getting 70% open rates (that’s incredible), much less getting that on a regular basis… unless they are constantly sanitizing their list.
As Nook Revenues Plunge, B&N Says it’s “Committed” to Devices - I don’t know that many people that use a Nook. You probably don’t either… Maybe that’s a sign that B&N should ditch devices.
The One Email That Belongs in Every Autoresponder Sequence - There’s something to be said for being very direct in your email CTAs. I also really love what this guy has to say about “making deposits” with content emails before pitching.
Reverse Engineering The Perfect eCommerce Product – I can’t really say enough about using “reverse engineering” to create products right now. In fact, I’m going to share a related video on the subject right below this.
[Bonus Video] How To Create Products Users Are Already Searching For - Check out this super easy method for mining Amazon’s massive data for free. No software necessary!
Got something to add? I’d love to hear your thoughts about the reading list… Go leave me a comment!
Talk soon,
Ryan Deiss
