Hey, can you recommend a good SEO guy? Do you know someone who can set up a WordPress site for me? I need someone to write some keyword articles for SEO, but I don’t wanna pay a whole lot… do you know anybody?
These are questions that I hear, or overhear, on a weekly basis… and the answer is: Yes, I do.
But that’s NOT because I’m some networking mastermind with 10,000 names programed into my phone. It’s because I know where to look. And slowly but surely, everyone else is finding this place too.
If you haven’t already guessed, the place I’m talking about is Fiverr.com. If you need some work done online, but it’s a little tedious or over your head, technically speaking, Fiverr is probably the very best place to outsource the task.
Don’t believe me? Browse around Fiverr.com for a few minutes and just take a look at what these service providers are willing to do for $5. It’s nothing short of AMAZING…
Don’t worry if you can’t find someone who’s offering to do exactly what you want. You can post a gig that you’d pay $5 for. It’s simple, cheap, and it’s changing the way LOTS of digital marketers run their businesses.
I won’t name names, but plenty of digital marketers and web design and SEO companies that we talk to freely admit that they outsource ALL of the tedious work that they don’t want to do (which, let’s be honest, is pretty much all of it).
For example, they may charge a business owner $500 a month, turn around and hire 10 guys on Fiverr, and then pocket the remaining $450.
That’s how powerful Fiverr is.
Right now, Fiverr has over 600,000 gigs posted. Service providers have waiting lists and gig ratings, so it’s a very low-risk way to get into outsourcing. Even if they take your money and run… your only out $5.
For the providers, some of them make a living on Fiverr, others use it as a way to acquire new customers who they can then try to sell other services to. It’s a win-win.
